All furniture will get scratched ,scraped and banged up. Vacume cleaners do a lot of damage. Heres a great tip to renew those damaged spots. Tints-All colors mixed with shellac . They come in all shades of colors and you can-spot touch- just by dipping your brush in the shellac- and then the color of your choice and apply-Good Luck— Problems with furniture restoration? To ebonize or to blacken wood.  not paint or brush on stain,  Here is a kit to give you fast results. Steel wool-black pigment stain-rubber gloves and shellac.When you are done you can wax your work.  Use a very dark or black wax,
